Sha Kundanmal Misrimal supplies reflective yarn made by coating a polyester or nylon core with retroreflective glass microspheres encapsulated in a flexible, transparent polymer binder. The result is a yarn that appears light grey or silver in normal daylight conditions but delivers striking retroreflective brightness when illuminated by a directed light source at night — the principle behind all glass-bead retroreflective products. The reflective coating is flexible enough to withstand the repeated bending, knitting, and weaving stresses of textile manufacturing without flaking or delamination.
