Sha Kundanmal Misrimal supplies heavy duty anti-skid tapes in multiple grit levels — from medium grit (60–80 grit) for general walkway applications to very coarse (24–40 grit) for high-risk industrial ramps and dock edges. The abrasive surface is embedded aluminium oxide or silicon carbide granules bonded to a tough backing material — typically a heavy polyester film or mineral fiber composite — that resists tearing, stretching, and delamination under repeated mechanical stress.
The adhesive system is a rubber-based or acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive with high initial tack and long-term bond strength on concrete, steel, aluminium, timber, fiberglass, and painted surfaces. Our heavy duty variant includes a reinforced primer-ready backing that allows application on rough, slightly uneven substrates — critical for dock plates and corrugated steel gratings where standard tapes fail within weeks.
Available in black, safety yellow, red, and high-visibility yellow-black striped versions, the tape doubles as both a traction surface and a visual warning marker.
